Returns Policy

All saddles sold through The Saddle Hub include a 10 day trial to ensure both horse and rider are happy (unless specifically excluded on a particular item). To take a saddle on a trial the Purchaser must pay the full price of the saddle prior to the saddle being released.

Should the saddle not be suitable, the purchase price, less freight charges, a $30 administration fee, and merchant services fees (if applicable), will be refunded after a MAXIMUM of 10 days trial. The purchaser will be liable for the freight costs of transporting the saddle, as well as return charges if saddle is deemed unsuitable by them, we are happy to organise the return freight for you.  Refunds will only be processed after we have received the saddle back into our care for inspection and approval.

If the saddle is deemed unsuitable by the purchaser it must be returned in the same condition as when forwarded to purchaser, this includes but is not limited to: no adjustments, no markings, all of the same mountings, tags, covers. If the saddle has incurred any damage of any kind the Purchaser will forfeit the return guarantee offered during the trial period. (photographic records of each saddle are held by The Saddle Hub)

Freight is charged at a flat fee of $75 one way, including insurance to anywhere within Australia. It may be necessary, for very remote areas, to organise for your saddle to be shipped to an address or courier depot at a nearby town. Saddles must be promptly collected on the day of delivery – your 10 day trial period begins once the freight tracking shows the item as “delivered”.  It is advisable to pre-book appointments with your chosen saddle fitter once you know your saddle is on the way, as there are no extensions to the 10 trial period. Saddles being returned to The Saddle Hub under these terms, must be dispatched from the purchaser no later than the 10th day from receipt.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon receiving, and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and find a suitable solution. Any issues or concerns must be reported to us within the 10 day trial period, otherwise we reserve our right to refuse the return / refund option.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be refunded on your original payment method ( less fees noted above )  within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us.
